HOW TO PALACE
We created this page for those of you who are new to the palace. If you take a little while to read this section and practice using your Palace software, you'll find that your experience on Palace will be all the more enjoyable!

It's pretty easy to use the palace software, but there are definitely a few things you should become familiar with so that you will be able to chat successfully with other people on Palace.
If you haven't yet downloaded the Palace user software, you can get it right here. Palace user software runs on both PC and Mac computers.
And if you ever have questions about your palace software, feel free to ask a wizard at Nikki's Pleasure. (Wizards are those people with asterisks * in front of their names.) They will be happy to help you.
Our main goal in palace is to have fun, meet new people and learn/share info about each other. Who knows, you may even meet your soul mate. We do, however, seem to run into people who are out to make us miserable, for whatever reason. So we thought it would be a good idea to put a little information here for those who aren't sure how to act around others. ;)
1. When you enter a palace, read the announcement. Each palace has one and always lets you know, in that way, what you can or can't do concerning the wearing of avatars, passwords, etc. If you don't read the announcement you can find yourself getting yelled at, pinned and eventual death if you ignore the wizard or god trying to talk with you.
2. The wizards and gods are there to visit, help and give direction when possible. But they won't put up with smart-mouthed remarks, wearing avatars that aren't appropriate for the gate or the pestering of others. They will warn the offender, pin the offender or ban him/her if they feel it's necessary. As in life, we all have rules to live by.
3. We don't allow showing genitals at the gate. And Skater/Sk8ter avs arenot allowed for tworeasons. One, usually kids tend to wear them. Second, hackers/pounders seem to like to wear them as well. (That shows their mentality). ;) Since this is the case we ask that no one wears a skater avatar. If you have one on when you enter Nikki's Pleasure, you will be asked to change. If you don't, we will either pin you or kill you. If you don't respond when talked to concerning the skater av we will kill you on sight. So be sure to say downloading, BRB, icq or whatever if you won't be responding right away. (An occasional kill may happen due to downloading lag…if that occurs, please have someone come in and let us know so we can take care of the problem.)
4. If you are sitting quietly at the gate without a BRB sign or something to let us know you are away, a wiz or god may do a check to make sure you aren't ghosting. Ghosting is when you leave but your avatar stays. If there is no response you may get killed for 0 minutes. That way you can come right back. It happens a lot if one lags out and is trying to get back in but can't. We do a zero kill and you can get back in.
5. We try to be fun and friendly at all times and expect our visitors to be the same. We know that we all have OUR bad days and try to understand. But, if you come in, are being a jerk and continue to be one, expect to get killed. Why would anyone want to sit and listen to someone bitching or acting like a child? I'm sure it's not something you would want to do. Although, if you are really down and need to talk/need help, ask a wiz or god if you can speak to them privately. Most will have no problem with that.
So, come in…laugh, joke, tease, flirt, giggle, show off a little or just talk. That's what we're all here for.
